Pakistan cricket team received a major boost as fast bowler Naseem Shah has fully recovered from his recent injury, just in time for the second ODI against Australia, scheduled for 8 November. Naseem return comes as a relief after he had to leave the field due to cramps during the first ODI in Melbourne, barely into his eighth over.
Initially, doubts surrounded his availability for the upcoming match, but Naseem was seen participating in a full training session at the Adelaide Oval alongside his teammates. Reports confirm he now in top physical shape and ready for selection, which strengthens Pakistan bowling attack for the crucial match.
Despite their narrow two-wicket loss in the first ODI at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Pakistan performance, especially with the ball, showed resilience. Naseem Shah impressed fans and critics alike by contributing significantly, scoring a valuable 40 runs and claiming the wicket of Australian opener Jake Fraser-McGurk.
Following the second ODI in Adelaide, the series will shift to Perth for the third ODI on 10 November. The ODI series will then lead into a three-match T20 series, kicking off on 14 November. Brisbane will host the opening T20, followed by matches in Sydney on 16 November and Hobart on 18 November.
In a notable development for the Australian side, wicketkeeper Josh Inglis is set to captain the team for the first time in the third ODI and the subsequent T20 series, adding a fresh dynamic to the squad.
